Meet Reggie!

Meet Reggie, a six year old male liver and white German Shorthaired Pointer  that was surrendered to the shelter by his family because he wasn’t a good fit in their home. The family had adopted Reggie from a friend who was retiring him as a hunting dog a year prior, and while they had a large yard, they had little time for exercise and training.Reggie is a very smart boy and knows a few commands including "down", "find-it" (finding a toy), and will always come to his name. He walks well on a leash and does well with another dog outside when his people are gone.Like most GSP's he likes his people, and prefers to be as close as possible to them when they are home.  Reggie is energetic and very playful with other dogs and would enjoy another playful dog to live with.  He may also be able to live in a home with cats.Reggie will need a home that can provide him with continued training, plenty of exercise and house manners combined, so that he will be able to thrive in a home environment.Learn more about Reggie, and all of our other available dogs for adoption by applying here.
