Meet Pirate!

Pirate is a 6 year old stunning male German Shorthaired Pointer. Pirate is very friendly and likes getting attention. He has a lot of energy, and always looks forward to his time out running in the field. He loves water and enjoys swimming and playing ball. He is housetrained, and crate trained. He walks well on a leash, and we are told he is good on recall. He has had some training, and knows sit.He lived with young children, and is very good with them, and loves people in general. He does well with other dogs, but doesn't really engage or play with them. He is more interested in seeing what he can hunt in the field.The perfect home for Pirate would be with a loving family who understands the energy of a 6 year old GSP that can provide him with plenty of exercise and continue his training. Like all GSP's, Pirate loves to run, so a home with a runner, or an active family who loves their dogs to accompany them with outdoor activities would be the perfect situation for him.Another great way to exercise Pirate would be to get a tow leash for a bicycle and run him alongside the bike which is ideal for any active GSP.
