Meet Hunter!

Hunter is a 4 year old male stunning liver and white ticked German Shorthaired Pointer.  Just as a typical GSP, he is very active, loving and playful.Just like every dog, training is key for this boy, as he has not had much training, however he does know "sit", and he is house trained.  He does pull on a leash, so he will need some work on his leash walking skills.  He will also need work on recall, as he is not off leash trained, and will take every advantage to take a stroll out on his own and play "catch me if you can". Also as much as we know how happy he will be to see you, he will also need help with learning the command "off" to teach him not to jump on you. He absolutely is driven by and loves treats, so treat training should come pretty easy. This fun loving boy loves to play, and one of his favorite things is to chase the light of a flashlight or a laser.Hunter is good with other submissive male dogs, but seems to get along much better with female dogs.  He would not be a candidate for a cat home.This very sweet boy loves people, and has been around children in his previous home.He is young and has much GSP energy to burn, so he will need plenty of daily exercise and continued training.
