Meet Apple!

Apple is a 4 year old beautiful white and liver German Shorthaired Pointer. A sweet girl who found herself as a stray and picked up by animal control and taken to a shelter. Scared, shy and timid dogs are often overlooked, even at 4 years old, Apple did not have any interest. Once she became available, we wasted no time getting her to safety. Now she is available for adoption, and one step closer to her forever home!We don't know much about Apple, but what we have learned is that Apple is very sweet and is a bit shy and timid, but does love attention and affection once she warms up to you. She does well with other dogs, and has also shown promise with the resident cat. We do not know if she is housetrained or crate trained, but these are things that can be easily taught when introduced with patience and positive reinforcement.  Apple seems pretty mellow for her age, but we feel once she is in a home, that her personality will begin to blossom. She needs a home where she will get plenty of love and attention, training and daily exercise. Because of her shy and timid behavior, it would be best for her not to go to a home with young children. We always scratch our heads wondering how a beautiful young GSP winds up as a stray, but our promise to Apple is that we will find her a home where she will be a loved and cherished family member.If you feel you would be a good fit for Apple, please apply here.Aren't able to adopt?
