Lunabelle Is Adopted!

Lunabelle, a one year old sweet female GSP was surrendered to us by her owner as they were not able to give her the training and daily exercise she needed. We knew just how special and sweet Lunabelle was. She was very smart and trainable, and we needed to find someone who appreciated and understood the needs of a young GSP.

Kristin applied to adopt a young GSP to join their family. They had to say goodbye to their 13 year old GSP six months prior, and while they weren’t trying to find a dog to replace him, they felt they were ready to open up their hearts to a dog in need, and provide a forever home.

We thought of Lunabelle immediately. Kristin had young children, and we knew Lunabelle had lived with young children in her previous home. We also knew that Kristin had experience having a GSP for 13 years, and knew that their family could provide Lunabelle with the daily training and exercise and stimulation she needed.

We invited Kristin and Brigham and their children out to meet Lunabelle, and they instantly fell in love. They were pretty excited to bring Lunabelle home to begin her new life with them, and help heal their hearts. Lunabelle is now a cherished member of the family, and we have received some updates as to how she is doing!

Just wanted to follow up on our first week with Lunabelle. She has quickly stolen all our hearts. She is still such a sweet good girl. She's doing well in her kennel at night, and when we are gone. She's been getting a lot of exercise and coming with us places whenever she can. She is doing really well and we love her to pieces. She is a great snuggler as you can see in the attached a couple photos.

Just wanted to share some updates with Luna. She is still doing well and has fully adjusted to our family. We love having a dog again in our household. She definitely keeps us on our toes with her being a little sneaky with stealing toys and socks, but she is still such a sweet girl. I have attached some pictures from the past month.
