In Loving Memory Of Rocky

Over the years, there have been many dogs adopted through California GSP Rescue. While we work placing these dogs in forever homes, when volunteers adopt, we are elated as we know the individuals well. Amanda and Tim were a young couple and volunteered regularly. As Amanda writes, she and Tim had their hands full, but they managed the newest addition to their family. Tim was in the Marines, and eventually, they moved away, and their family grew. Rocky was always a part of their family. 

“We got Rocky from California GSP Rescue on February 3, 2007, when he was 3 months old. My husband had never owned a pet before and we had been married only 3 months. We took him to the Rescue every Saturday that first year, and all he wanted to do was chase people around so they would throw him the ball. We instantly fell in love with our ball-obsessed pooch and he quickly became the best big brother after his first birthday! He loved all three of our children the entire (almost) 14 years we had him. We will forever miss our Rocky and are grateful for you guys connecting us with our lovable goof”!
