And the Winners Are... Last Saturday's Pasta for Pointers....and wine too! was a big success! Our many thanks go out to volunteers Cathy and Marianne for opening their home and providing the wine, to our GSP volunteers, volunteers from Susan G. Komen's Team Stride, the local Bonsall band "Soul Cake", the Bonsall teen volunteers, and of course the wonderful people in attendance and those who bought raffle tickets online!And last, but certainly not least, a HUGE thank you to the companies and individuals who provided our awesome raffle prizes! We've provided links to those companies that have so generously contributed and helped us raise important funds for the dogs - please check them out!We had a great mix of winners from the online auction and from those in attendance - here’s the rundown of the lucky winners:$100 Gift Certificate to Fandango Olive Oil  www.fandangooliveoil.com  -  Fandango Olive Oil, in addition to adopting two wonderful GSPs, has supported GSP Rescue with donations many times, and they are always a popular prize! The lucky winner was Ron B. who attended the eventSterling Silver GSP Necklace  This beautiful necklace was donated by adopters Chris and Mary and their adopted, and very wonderful, GSP Jake. It was won by Heidi R. who bought tickets online.Certificate for Dinner at Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar  www.lazydogrestaurants.com  -  We love Lazy Dog Restaurant for their food and their dog friendly patios, and doggy menus! Locations all over California, Nevada, Texas and beond! The winner of this great prize was Candace R, who bought her tickets online.Handmade Quilt -  Once again, our volunteer Dita outdid herself with this beautiful quilt! Complete with dog-bone quilting pattern and a little Pasta for Pointers label to mark the occasion, this quilt was quite a popular prize. Dita also is the adopter of  Ty and grandmom to adopted Charlotte and Clyde! The winner of the quilt was Rochelle A., who bought her tickets online.Wine!  We had three wonderfully huge bottles of wine (1 Jeroboam and 2 Magnums) which were only available at the event due to shipping constraints - these were won by three very lucky people who attended the event.Golf for Two at the Rancho Bernardo Inn - www.ranchobernardoinn.com  - Rancho Bernardo Inn is a beautiful dog-friendly hotel and golf course in north San Diego. They were very generous with their donation of golf on their highly-rated golf course. The winner of this prize was Sharon B., who bought her tickets online.30 x 30 Sunset Canvas - www.johnmichaelhembreephotography.com -  This beautiful and serene print came from photographer, and volunteer/adopter, John Hembree, of John Michael Hembree Photography. Marianne M., who was in attendance at the event, won this beautiful prize.Handmade Snuggle Sack  - Rebecca Anderson has donated these adorable and oh-so-soft snuggle sacks to our Pints for Pointer events in the past and we were thrilled to have her donate one to the Pasta for Pointers! Lucky Carolyn G., who bought her tickets online, was the winner of this prize.Pointer Whiskey Tasters and GSP Taster glasses - 5 Different flavors of Pointer Whiskey and 2 cute GSP Taster glasses were donated by our Kennel manager Cindy and won by a lucky (and popular) Geno S., who was in attendance at the eventMy GSP Locket - donated by Drina Bedoya of Oragami Owl Designs www.drinabedoya.origamiowl.com this cute locket was very popular! Drina has generously donated her unique creations to many Pints for Pointers events in the past and we are very appreciative of her support! The winner of the locket was Kathy R., who participated by buying raffle tickets online.GSP Wine Party Print and 2 GSP logo Wine Glasses - our wonderful and caring kennel manager, Cindy, donated this adorable print. Although many, many people wanted it, only one could win. Ron B., who was in attendance at the event, gets to take this cute prize home.GSP Swag for your Kitchen - also donated by Cindy H., this swag included a GSP Apron and cutting board. Jeanne M., who was in attendance at the event, was thrilled to win such a cute addition to her kitchen!Giant "All about the Dog" Basket - many of the cool items in this basket came from Teddy the Dog,  www.teddythedog.com and from Skout's Honor,  www.skoutshonor.com  This basket was won by a very lucky Grace Y., who attended the event.
