Talya

Talya

Talya is a 9 month old female German Shorthaired Pointer. A stunning patched liver and white ball of energy. She loves her toys and keeps herself entertained when no one else will play with her. She is good with other dogs and loves playing with most, but also respects those that do not want to play. Talya sometimes enjoys showing off her vocal cords and will sing soprano. However, she will respond to corrections if you tell her "quiet".

Talya was rescued from a shelter where she showed up as a stray. It's very likely her previous owners had no idea how much exercise and attention a GSP would need. Whatever exercise she was given, it was not likely enough. She bounces around long after the other GSP’s are taking breaks.

The Basics about Talya

Gender: Female

Dogs: Good with other dogs

Cats: Unknown

Kids: Unknown

The Good Stuff: Very sweet. Loves to play with toys and other dogs. Responds well to correction

The Challenges: Talya is a typical young GSP, and will need PLENTY of daily exercise and training

Our Volunteers say:

Talya loves to play ball and can run nicely along a bike if correctly tethered. She is very playful in the field and plays well with other dogs. Talya is super sweet and well mannered for such a young girl and best of all is she is relatively good on a leash

Non-stop playing machine.

She did great playing with the other young GSP’s

Sweet but does she ever tire?!?

If you feel you can continue to provide Talya with an active home and active lifestyle, you can complete an application and one of our GSP lovers will be in touch.
