Stryker
Stryker is a six-year-old black and white male German Shorthaired Pointer. He was rescued from a shelter after being found as a stray. When he first arrived, Stryker was thin; you could see his ribs, hips, and spine. However, he has steadily put on weight since coming into the Rescue and now looks much better.
Stryker is a big, 75 pound, and powerful boy who loves going for walks. Stryker will need some continued leash training to help with walking him.
He loves people and will interact whether he is being walked or playing with toys. He will also need a secure yard as he has been known to escape when left alone for long periods. Stryker has had some training - he knows "sit" and "give paw."
