Stryker

Stryker is an 8-month-old male German Shorthaired Pointer Mix. His owner relinquished him after realizing they had no time for a puppy or a GSP. While being a GSP Mix, he is a little calmer than GSP’s his age. 

Stryker does well with other well-socialized dogs and can spend hours playing. While he sometimes can play a little rough with the other dogs, he knows when to back down. He is also a love bug! He sometimes will forego playing with the other dogs for pets and attention.  

Stryker is very trainable. With the right trainer, he'll be able to learn all sorts of commands and tricks. He responds to anyone that will give him attention. 

Like most young GSP’s, Stryker will do best in a home that can manage a puppy. That means keeping him out of trouble and keeping items that aren't dog toys (shoes, socks, small things that can be swallowed) away from him.

Stryker is a GSP Mix puppy, and while he is slightly less active than a purebred GSP puppy, he is still a puppy. If you are ready for a puppy, Stryker might be the dog for you.
