Sarge
Sarge is a striking three-year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer with a black and white patched coat and cropped tail. His previous owner surrendered him to the Animal Shelter, along with his AKC paperwork, but the shelter was over-capacity and unable to keep the paperwork. Luckily, California GSP Rescue stepped in to save him.
Sarge has impressed everyone with his excellent behavior since arriving at the Rescue. However, his previous owner surrendered him because he had trouble with house training and would urinate when excited. After undergoing a complicated neuter and receiving training, Sarge is making great strides in his progress toward being fully housetrained.
Sarge seems to have received some basic training and knows commands such as "sit," "wait," "shake," and "kennel up." He enjoys spending time in his crate, which has been helpful in his housetraining and establishing a routine. Sarge also loves socializing and playing with other well-trained dogs, but his true passion is seeking attention from his human companions.
