Comte
Comte is a 5-month-old female German Shorthaired Pointer mix breed who California GSP Rescue, rescued. Animal Control picked her up and took her to the animal shelter after being dumped in an apartment complex with her mother and siblings. California GSP Rescue saw her potential and knew she deserved a better life.
Comte's early life is unknown, but she arrived at the shelter extremely shy and fearful of people. We recognized her potential and have been working with her to build trust and confidence. She has made great progress and we are confident that she will continue to thrive with the right person.
Comte is a smart, quick learner who loves treats and responds well to positive reinforcement training. She is also crate trained and knows how to make herself comfortable. She needs someone patient, gentle, and understanding to continue her training and socialization. Comte is a bit shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she will show her affectionate side.
Comte has made significant progress since coming into our care. She is learning to trust people and has started to come out of her shell. She has also responded well to training and is eager to learn new things.
