Meet Colby, a lovable seven-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer Mix. Sadly, Colby's early days were marked by abandonment and neglect. Animal Control Officers found Colby, his mother, and his siblings running scared in an apartment complex, leaving them to fend for themselves without human care or affection. Thankfully, California GSP Rescue stepped in to rescue them from being euthanized at the shelter. With patience and love, Colby has blossomed into a playful and confident pup, eager to find his forever home.

Colby is an intelligent and trainable pup who has made great strides in his training so far. He is a quick learner who responds well to positive reinforcement and consistent guidance. Colby's forever home must be dedicated to continuing his training and helping him progress further. With the right love, care, and attention, Colby has the potential to grow into a well-behaved and loving companion for years to come.

As a GSP Mix, Colby will benefit from regular exercise to keep him happy and healthy. However, unlike some young purebred GSP’s, Colby doesn't require an excessive amount of exercise. With proper introductions and supervision, he has done well with other dogs and enjoys getting his daily exercise by romping around with well-socialized pups. Colby's forever family should be willing to provide him with regular exercise, playtime, and socialization to ensure he continues to thrive.
