Tanner is safe!

It's been one long hot crazy summer here in California with so many GSPs needing rescuing. Fortunately, we have had the resources to not only rescue the GSPs in need but find forever homes for them. Like many of the GSPs we have recently rescued, Tanner turned up as a stray at a local kill shelter. With time running out and no one interested in adopting him, the shelter contacted California GSP Rescue to see if we could assist. Feeling certain we could find a forever home for Tanner, arrangements were made to pull and transport yesterday. A big thanks to Volunteer Cynthia H for picking up Tanner and getting him one step closer to his forever home. As an all volunteer organization, we are only able to succeed with individuals like Cynthia who are willing to give their time.
