Sheldon is a good dog

After some vigorous water play and ball-fetching, Sheldon took a walk with volunteers Cindy and Lisa.  He stayed right at their side, without a leash!   Whenever he would get a few steps ahead, we would call him, and he would wait for us to catch up. As energetic as Sheldon is, we didn't expect that. We also know Sheldon can "sit" and "shake" on command. He even slowed down enough for a few scratches behind the ears between fetches! He is capable of learning much more for the owner with enough time to exercise and play with him each day (which is a joy to watch!). Pictured here is Sheldon in training with Volunteer Dave.
