Shadow is adopted!

When Nicolette and Kurt contacted us, they knew one thing for sure, and that is they wanted to adopt a senior dog to be a companion for their 4 year old GSP, Dexter whom they rescued from a local shelter.Their idea of the perfect dog for their family was a senior dog that was still active that would play with Dexter, get along with other dogs, people and children.Well, it didn't take long for us to find the right dog for their family.  Shadow, who has been in our care for quite some time was what we believed the perfect fit, and when they came to the rescue to meet him, Dexter chose his new brother.Adopters like Nicolette and Kurt are rare who want to adopt a senior dog, and we are so grateful to them for opening up their hearts and home for a wonderful dog that may have never had the chance to live out the rest of his life in a loving home.We thank you Dexter, for choosing Shadow, and to Nicolette and Kurt for giving Shadow a new start and a new life.  This photo speaks a thousand words!
