Sammy Is Adopted!

It's always a great feeling, when we receive an application from somebody who wants to provide a home for an older dog that otherwise may be overlooked because of his age. Jessika reached out and wanted to provide a loving home for a dog, and to provide a friend for her current 12 year old GSP, Timber.

After waiting patiently with her adoption counselor, Sammy came into the rescue and Lisa knew that he would be the perfect dog for Jessika and her family to meet. The rest is history.

We've received a few updates on Sammy:

“Sammy is so good. We had a bunch of people here, and he didn’t even mind at all. Had some little kids here and he was the best. He is seriously better than my 12 year old GSP. We love his personality coming out too. It’s been the best decision, and I am so happy we didn’t go with a different dog from the shelter”.

And more recently:

“Sammy has been the biggest blessing to our family. He is the best dog we could’ve asked for. He loves to play in the rain, sunbathe, play with our 12 year old GSP, and loves his walks. He is starting to finally come around and get on the couch and play with us. He is very particular with his treats, but that’s okay because he is so cute! We tell him all the time he is the best dog. Starting to finally see his personality finally come out. I am sad he lost his other family, but grateful we got the opportunity to love him now”.
