Remembering Checkers

Earlier this month we were notified by Julie that her adopted GSP, Checkers had passed away. She had adopted Checkers back in 2005 and writes the following:"Last month I lost my sweet Checkers to congestive heart failure. She was my best friend and loyal companion for 8 years. Always excited for walks, looking for something to hunt, and by my side. I felt so lucky to have her in my life and I miss her dearly. Rest in peace my pretty girl."We send our condolences to Julie and are forever grateful to her for adopting and giving Checkers eight wonderful loving years.
