My foster Foster gets adopted!
A few months ago, the thought of my foster Foster getting adopted was very far from my mind. After all, we could hardly get him out of the laundry room! Of course, that was our goal: to teach him how to be comfortable around people, learn to trust them, and find his forever home. After four months in foster care, he finally found his match! Jennifer and Tony were looking for a playmate for their very, very active 3-year-old lab, and Foster loves to play with dogs. They loved how he played with their dog, could see how gentle and sweet he was, and had faith he would be as comfortable in their home one day, as he became in his foster home.Foster amazed us by very quickly accepting his new home. After only a couple of weeks in his new home, his family tells us, "Foster is great. He has warmed up to ... us and is settling in just fine" He wears himself out each day playing with his lab sister, Bordeaux, and enjoys the attention of his human siblings, Logan and Megan, both of whom are competing to be Foster's favorite. It is everything we had hoped Foster would have!Thank you Tony, Jennifer, Logan, Bordeaux, and Megan (not pictured), for making a permanent home for our sweet, shy boy!
