Meet Tigger!

Tigger is a five year old sweet and fairly calm male GSP.  He is big but gentle and the other dogs seem to readily accept this social boy.  He seems to like all of the people and dogs he encounters! Tigger enjoys a little fetch, a good walk and just hanging out in the yard and the house. He will cuddle up with the people or the dogs on the couch and seems to enjoy football with his foster mom!Tigger and another GSP were found as strays in the desert and Tigger was diagnosed with Valley Fever by the shelter that took them in. Treatment of this non-contagious disease is medication for a year or more and titer tests to guage when he is done with meds.  Thanks to a supporter of the rescue, CA GSP Rescue has found a source that offers Tigger's medication at a very reasonable price and, although we don't know for sure how long he will need it, we can say it is a small price to pay to have such a wonderful dog!To learn more about Tigger, please apply here.Not able to adopt, but want to help?
