Meet Duke Jr!

Meet Duke Jr! A 5 year old male liver and white ticked German Shorthaired Pointer. Duke Jr. was surrendered to us along with Gunner when their owner's circumstances changed and could no longer care for them.Duke Jr. gets along well with other dogs, but would not be a candidate for a cat home.Duke Jr. is very well behaved, and is very friendly with people. He has been an inside dog, and is house-trained. He walks well on a leash with very little pulling, and has been a running companion with his previous owner.Duke Jr. does not jump fences or dig, and he loves to ride in the car. He knows a few commands, sit and shake, and will rarely bark except when the doorbell rings, but we learned that he will howl when he hears sirens.  We have been told that Duke Jr. has good kitchen manners, and does not beg for food or counter surf.While Duke Jr. and Gunner came into the rescue together, they do not need to be adopted together.
