Meet Barkley!

Barkley is a beautiful liver and white five year old female German Shorthaired Pointer.  She is at that perfect GSP age, and is as sweet as can be. While Barkley has been a joy to have with us, we are now accepting applications to find her a wonderful forever home.Barkley enjoys people and dogs alike, she loves to play in the field, and loves to play fetch.  However we have learned that Barkley would not likely do well in a home with cats.When Barkley came into rescue, we noticed that she had a small mark on her eyelid, so we had it removed as a precaution to ensure it didn't irritate her eye.  She has been enjoying the pets and attention from the volunteers and play time in the field with the other dogs ever since.While she is safe and secure in rescue, she is hoping to find an ideal home with people and possibly another dog of her own.  As a typical active GSP, at only five years old, Barkley would thrive in a home with plenty of exercise and continued training.If you are interested in learning more about Barkley, please apply here.
