Meet April!

April is an 8 year old female German Shorthaired Pointer. A beautiful girl, white in color with liver patches. April came to us from a high kill shelter. When she arrived at the shelter, she had a tag with her owners name on it, but when the shelter tried to contact them, they never claimed her.  We are not sure why, as what we have come to learn about April is that she is a very sweet girl who likes giving and getting attention.April is very petite, friendly with other dogs, rides well in the car and loves to greet anyone who passes by her that will stop and give her pets. How could you resist! We also have learned that she loves to sing!When April first arrived, she had a growth on her leg and a broken tooth which were examined by our vet, and he has cleared her for adoption!Even at 8 years old, April still has plenty of GSP energy, and would thrive in a home that will give her plenty of daily exercise and training. She will also need a secure yard, as we have learned that she likes to get out and visit her neighbors.
