Jasmine is Adopted!

Jasmine has been adopted and has been renamed Hazel.  Jasmine had some allergies and needed to go to a special home that would give her the attention her sensitive skin needed.  Fran came along and wanted a GSP as she had had one previously.  She also had Dalmatians that had skin conditions.  We discussed a couple of different dogs with Fran that could be possibilities, and finally talked about Jasmine and that she had allergies that may need to be treated.  Fran's response was "we're not looking for a show dog, I'm looking for a dog to love".  Well that is the best definition of Jasmine...a loving dog that needed lots of love.  Jasmine now has a sister Ziggy and Fran has been wonderful with Jasmine.  Jasmine has been to dog parks, is enrolled in doggy day care, is enrolled in training classes for her and Fran and had an appointment at her Vet for her skin before she was even adopted.We received the most lovely email from Fran after Jasmine's adoption that said "I feel very lucky to have her in my life, she will be protected for the rest of her days on earth and will have every luxury that I can afford for her.  I will keep her physically fit and love her as a member of my family.  She is home now and whatever privations she has suffered previously in her short life, well they are over!"Again, we are so grateful for this dedicated adopter that provides a second chance at a wonderful home for a wonderful dog.
