In Loving Memory Of Jenny

Jenny

Pernille and her family applied to adopt an older dog back in April of 2018. They didn’t want a puppy, and wanted to give an adult or senior GSP a second chance at a family and forever home.

Jenny, a 9 year old beautiful adult female German Shorthaired Pointer came into the rescue as an owner surrender in early 2018, as her owners were moving out of state, and were not able to take her with them. She lived with them for 8 years. Jenny was very special, and we were devoted to finding her a home where she would be loved and a treasured part of a family.

We presented Jenny to Pernille as we thought she would be a perfect fit for her wonderful family, and that they would be a perfect fit for Jenny. It turns out we were right. Jenny lived a life well loved and cherished for the past 5 1/2 years, up until recently at almost 15 years old she sadly passed away. Our hearts are very heavy, but at the same time, very grateful for the love and care that Jenny received for her remaining years.

“We could write a book about Jenny and how much she has impacted our family with her sweet love and very cat like personality.

We all have phones filled with pictures of her, many FaceTime calls have included her gentle face, and most conversations has ended up being about her.

We have loved every minute of the almost six years we had with her, and will be forever grateful for having felt her very special love.

RIP sweet Jenny girl. We'll miss you always.

Thanks again for everything you do for these lovely dogs”.
