In Loving Memory Of Annie

Sedona, a 7 year old German Shorthaired Pointer didn't come from a shelter, but made her way to California GSP Rescue after her owner passed away. Unfortunately, Sedona's family was not able to provide for her, and reached out for assistance.

In December of 2020, Sedona found her forever home with Ken and Julie, and then Sedona became their beloved Annie.

We were saddened to hear the news that Annie passed away last week. We are so grateful to Ken and Julie for opening up their hearts and home to an older dog. While their time together was far too short, Annie was given a second chance for a family, and that is all we could ask for. This brings joy to our hearts that she was so very loved.

“Hi Lisa,

I haven't had the heart to send this email, but we said goodbye to Annie last week.  Among other things, she had lymphangiectasia and we just couldn't get her through that.

She was the sweetest dog ever!  Always happy to do what we were doing, eager to be by your side and always following Hunter (2016).  They became best buddies and you couldn't find one without the other one being right there.

You guys are amazing and the work that you do is incredible.  We just wanted to reach out and thank you for giving us the opportunity to share our lives with her.  She impacted us in so many ways, and we are going to miss her terribly.

Just a couple of pictures to share with you.  Our whole family has so many Annie moments it's hard to give you an idea of what those are, but these will at least give you an idea”.

Cheers,

Ken and Julie
