Elmo is adopted!

Elmo (now Duke) brought David and Marisa some holiday joy.  David has has good experience in training dogs and was looking to bring a dog into their home.  Marisa commented that "a dog will complete our family".  They met Duke and another dog when they came out and felt Duke was a good fit for them.  Duke has already started his training and has learned sit.  Duke is playing on the floor with David like a puppy and has his own spot on the couch.David is anxious to start Duke's training and bring him back to the rescue for socialization and to show us how much Duke has learned.  We look forward to these types of visits where we can see the progress a great dog can make when in the care of a home.
