Corazon Is Adopted!

Sally was persistent to ensure she found her GSP Jack a new friend.  She worked with us as we tried to find the right match.  It was important to ensure the dogs met before adoption as we want to ensure the dogs get along before proceeding with an adoption.  There were some challenges with this as Jack does not do well in car trips. Luckily we were able to work this out and had the nicest short but sweet update from Sally on Corazon’s Adoption:

“Just adopted a friend for our Jack from California GSP Rescue.  I can’t say enough about this organization. They listened to our story … Jacks best friend Bill passed at the age of 15 leaving him oh so lonely.  Fast forward and lots of emails and phone calls to California GSP Rescue, and ta da, meet Corey! She is a senior, and must of had a heck of a lot of puppies in her day.  She was discarded but she’s has a forever home now. Jack fell in love with this gentle cougar. ( older woman younger man) lol. Here’s to many happy years together. We love you Corey and sooo does Jack”

Choosing to adopt a German Shorthaired Pointer or a GSP mix is a truly meaningful gesture. If you're passionate about supporting our mission to reduce the number of unwanted pets in shelters and help them find forever homes, consider adoption. If adopting isn't possible for you right now, you can still make a difference by making a donation or becoming a Rescue Hero. Your support transforms and saves lives.
