Captain Dusty is Adopted!

When Steve applied to adopt, we didn't know he'd become one of our regular Saturday (and sometimes Sunday) volunteers - but he is now a valued member of the group.Steve had applied to adopt a young male after losing his previous GSP, but decided he'd like to just volunteer for a while waiting for that perfect match. While other volunteers tried to play matchmaker between Steve and the many young males that came through the rescue, Steve's wife had other plans. They took home a 9 year old female GSP named Stella  a couple of months after he started volunteering, and quickly grew to love her quirky ways.And then came Captain Dusty. A very cool, easy going young male just made for Steve and his family. A few weeks later, Steve finally had the boy he originally applied for!  As a bonus, we still get to see Steve and Captain Dusty almost every Saturday and have the help of a now very experienced GSP owner!
