Join the CA GSP Rescue at the 20th Annual Canine Adoption and Rescue League's Pooch Parade & Bark on the Beach!Sunday May 7th, 201710:00 am – 3:00 pmAt The Promenade Park in beautiful Downtown VenturaCome on out and stop by our booth to say hello and meet some of our rescued German Shorthaired Pointers available for adoption! About this event:The Pooch Parade is Ventura’s biggest dog-themed event of the year, and this will be our 4th year in attendance! For two decades, Ventura County has come out to walk, eat, drink, shop, and support homeless dogs while they’re at it.The walk is a fundraiser to support dog rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and dog owner education programs undertaken by the Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.).We think the Pooch Parade was already one of the most fun events in Ventura County. And, to commemorate our 20th anniversary, C.A.R.L. has gone all out to make this the best Pooch Parade ever!This promises to be a fun filled day for the whole family with many activities that include:
- A new location!
- Dogs!
- New booths!
- DOGS!
- A special Kids’ Zone!
- DOGS, DOGS, DOGS!
- Beer from MadeWest Brewery! (for the grownups!)
- SO MANY DOGS! BRING YOUR DOG!
- Some truly off-the-wall entertainment.
- The best Silent Auction in the county!
- And much more! (Dogs.)
As always, admission is free! A spot in the parade itself is just $45, all of which goes to support rescue dogs in Ventura County. Or just show up and have a great time!This year’s theme is Bark on the Beach, because it’s all about fun!
