Titus
Titus is a very handsome and sweet five year old white and liver male German Shorthaired Pointer. He was surrendered to us by his owners because they said he didn't get along with their female dog in the home.
Titus listens really well to his people and really enjoys affection from the people he knows. Titus should be an only dog and would not be a good candidate for a dog park and can be dog selective. Titus would do best in a home with no children and no other dogs, but with strong humans that can appreciate all of his good qualities, and devote the time to continue to work with him with training and exercise, he will thrive.
Titus has had some training in his prior home but needs a refresher and would benefit from building a bond with his people through obedience training. Titus does remember “sit”, “stay” , “come”, “potty”, “kennel”, “wait (for food)”. He is potty trained although we recommend adopters assume they are not potty trained initially. Titus would do well with a nice yard to run around in and good long leashed walks.

What our volunteers are saying about Titus
“Titus is cuddle bug. He is calm, but energetic on a leash. Loves to go on his walks, and does well walking with a harness. Pretty easy to walk when there are no other dogs around him. He wants to be your one and only, getting all the pets and attention”.
“Titus just wants you to love him the way he could love you. Loves all the attention you can give him. Every time I walk him and talk to him, I can’t help but love him. He is one of a kind”.
“Titus is very smart, listens very well, and responds to commands for correction quite well. Only dog aggressive/reactive when other dogs in his face while in field, otherwise ignores the other dogs”.
