Millie is a gorgeous liver and white 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer. Her frosted eyebrows and soulful eyes add to her beauty and charm. Millie's journey began at a local animal shelter, where she patiently awaited to be claimed after being found as a stray. Sick and unclaimed, California GSP Rescue rescued Millie when no one came to claim her. After nursing her back to health, she is now ready for her forever home. 

Millie is the perfect age for a GSP. She embodies both grace and tranquility. Her endearing demeanor shines through as Millie strolls by your side, occasionally showing a bit of excitement that adds to her charm – especially when squirrels make their appearance! Weighing in at a delicate 45 lbs, she's a petite companion with a gentle bark that serves as a loving alert.

Millie could be an ideal only dog or, given the dogs and home, an addition to a multi-dog home with mild-mannered, more submissive dogs. When socializing her, we found she gets along well with most well-behaved and socialized dogs and occasionally engages in play, but she can also be a bit dominant. She's mastering the art of fetch, slowly discovering the joy of retrieving and returning, a testament to her eager willingness to learn and grow. Squeaky toys are her delight, a source of endless entertainment and joyous moments.

Millie knows some basic commands but is poised to shine even brighter through continued training, blossoming into an even more remarkable companion. While she may not demand the same level of exercise as a younger counterpart, Millie thrives on daily adventures and leisurely walks, her zest for life shining through each step.
