Jade

Meet Jade, the fun-loving four-year-old! This energetic girl is four years old and isn't slowing down!

Jade is active and will go go go all day! We have yet to find the off switch for this girl. After exercising, she tends to "slow down," but like a one-two-year-old, she quickly looks for her next adventure.

She has played well in the field with the other dogs and lived in a multi-dog home before being given up. However, she has little patience with the little dogs with big-dog attitudes. While she is a candidate for a multi-dog home, it will depend a lot on the other dogs.

The Basics:

Cats: curious - might hunt if runs

Kids: good with the ones she's encountered

The Good Stuff:

Active: She'll keep up with you on any hike you go on!

Smart: She knows a lot already but can easily be taught more.

Social & Friendly: Plays and gets along well with the other dogs in the field

The Challenges:

Exercise Requirements: Thirty-forty-five minutes at least once a day. Minimum. No off days.

Fence jumper: Needs a secure yard. She cannot be left alone in the yard all day while the family is at work.

While small and adorable, Jade is an active GSP. She loves getting attention, but only after physical and mental stimulation. No matter how large, she isn't a GSP who will exercise herself in the backyard. Her last family gave her up because they moved out of the country. She needs a forever home that, if they move, she will go with them.
