Drifter
Meet Drifter, a three-year-old male German Shorthaired Pointer with a stunning white and liver-patched coat and an intact tail. Sadly, he was found as a stray and taken to the Animal Shelter, where he was held before being made available for adoption.
Drifter hasn't had the best life so far. His previous owner kept him outside most of the time, if not all the time. We also know he is an opportunist and will look for ways to escape if left to entertain himself, which is possibly why Animal Control picked him up. Despite his rough start, Drifter is a sweet dog who deserves a second chance at a happy life.
Drifter is okay on the leash when on walks, but he is very birdy and attentive to all the birds on walks or in the field. He is also responsive to corrections and training when being walked. He will need a committed owner who can give him the exercise and attention he needs. A secure yard is a must to keep him safe and happy.
