Ursula, a brave ten-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, was discovered running loose after a tragic car accident left her injured. She was taken to a local humane society as a stray, where she awaited her owner's return, but sadly, they never came. Several weeks later, California GSP Rescue became aware of her plight, stepped in to help, and took her in to receive the medical attention she needed. Upon arrival at the veterinarian's office, Dr. Kang carefully assessed her condition. Ursula had endured numerous litters and bore callouses from being kenneled without bedding. Dr. Kang removed the splint, took X-rays, and removed several mammary tumors while she was spayed. He observed her movement and overall demeanor, with the ultimate decision on amputation depending on her adaptation. Ursula is on a heartwarming journey of recovery. She will soon be seeking her forever home filled with love and care.
Your generous donations will support Ursula's and several other dogs' medical expenses, ensuring they receive the care they need and deserve. While Ursula is not yet available for adoption, submitting an application will pave the way for a loving home filled with the love and attention she so eagerly awaits.
