Zoe (A4479771) is safe!

Zoe may have found a lucky four leaf clover before she was picked up as a stray. She happened to be in the same shelter as Whitney, who was rescued earlier this week, however, Zoe was listed as an English Pointer Mix. While the volunteer was waiting to pickup Whitney, they wandered around looking at the dogs of different shapes, sizes and color waiting to be adopted and freed from their kennel. However, there was one dog that sat curled up in her kennel looking as if she had given up on anyone coming to get her. She lifted her head ever so slightly to glimpse the volunteer, her new visitor, taking photos. Little did she know, her ticket out arrived. An immediate call went out to a few other volunteers. It turns out that even though Zoe's kennel card said she was "available now" she still had to be spayed before she could leave. This would require the help of other volunteers and a separate transport. Thankfully all this was quickly accomplished and plans were made for Zoe to be picked up this past Thursday. A big thanks to volunteers Daniel, Georgia, & Kayla for making this possible. Watch for more info on Zoe real soon!
