Sammy is Safe!

There are some shelters in Southern California with low adoption rates that stray dogs should avoid. Sammy, a stray, was unfortunate to find his way to one of these shelters. What Sammy didn't know was California GSP Rescue was notified about him early on last week. We monitored to see if anyone would show up to claim him and, when it looked like no one would, we made plans to spring Sammy from the shelter.This past Tuesday, when it was clear no one was coming to claim or adopt Sammy, California GSP Rescue Volunteer Daniel made his way to the shelter to make sure Sammy was safe! Volunteer Daniel pulled and transported Sammy to California GSP Rescue.A big thanks to Daniel for taking time from work to visit the shelter and transport Sammy one step closer to his forever home.
