Roxy's New Year - New You Resolution

How many of us start off the new year with resolutions to accomplish?  Roxy had a difficult 2012.  She had been used for years by a breeder to produce puppies over and over again.  She ended up at a shelter where her owner picked up her sibling and left her.CA GSP Rescue could not let Roxy's life end without a "happy ending" similar to her GSP friend Hope that came before her.  We picked her up and she is now in our care.Roxy has a wiggly tail and rear, and is so happy with people and any attention.  The puppy that never existed is coming out in her.  However, like many of us, Roxy is a few pounds overweight.  She has a new years resolution to find a forever home and lose her extra pounds.  She would want a home where she can go for walks and with people who will ensure her food is nutritious but not too calorie rich.  If you have a similar New Year's resolution you may find great motivation in Roxy.If you have room in your home and your heart to give this beautiful senior GSP a second chance at a wonderful life, please complete an adoption application and indicate that you would like to meet Roxy!
