Ptarmigan

Ptarmigan is an adult (8-10 year old) male GSP.  When Ptarmigan's owner passed away late last year he was then cared for by his owner's mother.  Unfortunately, in early July, Ptarmigan's new caretaker passed away. With no one else to care for Ptarmigan, a friend of the owner contacted California GSP Rescue to see if we could assist.Given Ptarmigan's age, we were aware he didn't have many options. Had he been dropped off at the shelter, he could have easily been put to sleep as there is little interest in adult dogs at the shelter.With little knowledge of his history other than knowing he was loved and cared for by both his previous owners, we are honored to assist in finding Ptarmigan a new forever home.
