Pronto Is Adopted!

Pronto, a gorgeous 10-year-old solid liver GSP came to us from a remote shelter with several lumps and bumps on his body. After having them removed, and cleared by our vet, he became available for adoption. Pronto’s wish… to be adopted and loved.

Leslie and Jerry applied to adopt a senior GSP to be a companion for their 12 year old GSP Spiker, and to provide a loving home for a senior. They said on their application “Every senior dog deserves a good home and family”. This sounded like the perfect family for Pronto, and his wish came true!

“It has been great adding Pronto to our family. We have had a learning curve with his affinity for paper products and socks, but we have mastered preventative measures now. 

We did learn that he has Cushings disease, and will recheck his blood next month to see if it has changed. (No meds yet) He loves to cuddle and enjoys being with us. He is very talkative when getting ready to go for walks and car rides. He enjoys running around with his older brother Spiker. He still tries to get on the couch, and we have put up a gate to keep him out of the kitchen. We definitely love him and are so thankful we adopted him”!
