Minnie's Progress - Week 5

This has been a very exciting week for Minnie and her foster family.  Christmas occurred and Minnie enjoyed it.  She has been walking daily and she just LOVES her walks.  We are enjoying her immensely but had resounded ourselves to small progress each week, and then this week occurred!Minnie found stuffed animals and some pleasure in playing with other dogs.  When I wasn't overlooking her I heard a lot of playing between the dogs.  To my surprise I found Minnie and my two dogs playing near the Christmas tree!  I was thrilled and just watched without them knowing while she bowed down and made a circle and bowed down again.  Both of my dogs responded with similar playful moves.  It lasted just a few minutes and then they went on with the day but it was such a joy to see her play, letting her guard down.In another instant that same day I found her with a stuffed animal which she had pushed to the wall and did running jumps at it.  My daughter was not too happy as it was hers but I was really thrilled to see Minnie enjoying a toy.She is progressing daily and weekly and it is such a joy to see her guard come down day after day, week after week to let the Minnie that exists under her shyness come out.
