Meet Rusty!

Rusty is a 7 year old very handsome German Shorthaired Pointer. His coat is white with liver ticking, and he has a cute little spot in the shape of a heart on his left side. He was surrendered to us by his owners as they were unable to give him the attention and exercise he needs, and keep him contained in the yard.Rusty is house trained, and does well inside the home when left alone. He can jump a 6' fence, so he would need a secure yard and be supervised when outside.He is very loving and loves getting and giving affection with people of all ages. He is social with other dogs, but with slow introductions. He loves playing fetch. He walks well on a leash, but needs a little work.The perfect home for Rusty would be with a family that would be able to give him plenty of daily exercise and attention. He hasn't had much training, and doesn't know many commands, so giving him a job to do by teaching him some commands will only benefit him and you too!Someone that works from home or able to take him to work with them would be ideal for Rusty.
