Meet Nubs!

Nubs is a 7 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer. He is just as sweet as he is handsome, and enjoys human companionship. He came to us after his owner passed away, and their was no one able to care for him. He does very well with other dogs, has even lived with a cat, and loves getting the attention and affection from people. We hear that he loves to snuggle, which doesn't surprise us. GSP's after all, are known as "velcro dogs".He does pull some on a leash, but loves his daily walks., and this is easily managed with consistency and training.His favorite toy is a rope toy, and he loves to play tug-of-war. Nubs is house trained and crate trained.  He has had a little training and knows "sit", "stay", and "paw". We have been told that he does pretty well with recall, but this would need to be introduced cautiously to be sure, especially in a new environment.Nubs perfect home would be with an active person or family with a large yard, as we learned he loves to run and hunt little critters. Don't let his age fool you, even at 7, this boy still has plenty of GSP energy. Nubs, just like all dogs needs daily exercise, continued training and stimulation to thrive in his environment.
