Meet Buttercup!

Meet Buttercup! A beautiful 8 year old black and white female German Shorthaired Pointer. Buttercup, like the flower, is a symbol for cheerfulness and that she is!What we have learned about Buttercup is that she gets along with most mild mannered dogs, she knows "sit" and walks great on a leash. She also does well riding in a car. She is just as sweet as they come, and will come up to you for kisses, and she will give you plenty of affection in return.Buttercup was picked up as a stray and found herself at a high kill shelter. We monitored her to see if she would be picked up by her owner, but when her owner did not come to claim her and her hold was up, we immediately sent one of our volunteers to pull her and get her to safety.
