Lucy is Adopted!

Lucy is adopted! Her new family, Louise and Mike sent us an update shortly after taking her home, "She is doing really well and has made herself right at home. We found out quickly the commands she knows when we brought out a cookie.  She went through them all!"Lucy is enjoying having a family of her very own again, but is working through some separation issues. She had quite a bit of change prior to going to her forever home and needs a little time to feel secure again. Luckily, Mike and Louise have dealt with this issue before and know with time and patience, she will do just fine.They also are working on her pulling on the leash and have wondered if she may be "part sled dog"! But, have found her to be quite sweet and responsive (especially for those treats!) and are working on that as well so that everyone can enjoy the walk!We are grateful for those adopters who view their new dogs as forever pets and are willing to put the work in to make them perfect!
