Leroy is safe!

Poor Leroy. He spent Christmas at the shelter while an attempt was made to contact his owners. Because he had a microchip, additional time was allowed to contact the owners but, unfortunately, they couldn't be found.Fortunately for Leroy, California GSP Rescue was made aware of his his presence and he was monitored while in the shelter to see if he was reclaimed by his owners or adopted. When neither happened, this past Thursday a plan to free Leroy was carried out.A big thanks to Stephani with START, Animal Care Attendant Terri, and California GSP Rescue Volunteers Amy & Cindy for helping Leroy get to safety.
