In Memory of Rufus

Rufus was adopted several years ago by Jeff and Melissa and was recently featured in an adoption photo when Buster was adopted. Shortly after Buster was adopted, Rufus was diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized to his spine. Rufus lived a great life after he was adopted up until his diagnosis and fortunately his pain and suffering was minimal. His adopter Jeff shared the following about Rufus."From the moment we first saw Rufus at the kennel in Beaumont we knew he was an exceptionally athletic and high energy GSP.  He quickly adapted to life in our home and became a great partner for enjoying time in the outdoors. Whether is was hiking, mountain biking or playing frisbee in the field near our house, Rufus did everything at full power, all the time. We lost our good friend earlier this month, but he will always have a place in our hearts for his unbridled enthusiasm for life and his unwavering loyalty to his adopted family."
Thank you to Jeff and Melissa to opening their hearts and home and adopting adult GSPs that often get overlooked.
