In Memory Of Ranger

We were recently contacted by one of our previous adopters about the recent loss of his dog Ranger, whom he adopted from us 10 years ago.  He shared this with us..."Sadly, I had to say good bye to Ranger today at age 14.  About a week ago I noticed that he had problems getting up and it took him a while to get control over his hind legs. His condition worsened over the past few days and I took him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with a neurological problem in his spine that caused him to lose control over his hips and legs. There was no reasonable treatment option and I did not want him to suffer more.I adopted Ranger when he was about 4 years old from the German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue in Southern CaliforniaThey always have great German Shorthaired dogs available for adoption.Ranger was my buddy and member of my family for 10 years and I will miss him a lot. He was one of these dogs that did not wag his tail but his tail was waggling the entire dog when he come up to greet someone".Our condolences go out to Dietmar. We are so grateful for the wonderful years Ranger had, filled with so much love and happiness.
