In Loving Memory of Daisy
It is with heavy hearts, that we share the news that former California GSP Rescue dog Daisy has passed away. Today we are remembering Daisy, a beautiful female German Shorthaired Pointer who was adopted by long time volunteers, Lynn and Norm back in 2010. We are grateful to have had Lynn as a member of our board, and serving as a past president, and appreciate all of their support over the years. We are so very sorry for loss of your beautiful Daisy, and we thank you Lynn and Norm for adopting Daisy, and giving her 10 years of love and devotion, and the patience to come into her own personality. She had the best of both worlds being able to explore the great outdoors from the beach to the east coast!"We rescued Daisy in April of 2010, our fourth rescue through CA GSP Rescue. In 2014 we moved from San Diego to Pennsylvania and she learned to adjust from sand and sunshine to winter snows (of which she was not a big fan). As I recall, she was slow to warm to us as her new family; but when that gave way it was to as deep and warm a devotion as a dog can give. Not that she didn't have her headstrong moments, a couple of times she went off exploring and we weren't sure we would see her again, as there was just so much new, interesting terrain for her. In her last couple of years she was content to be close to home and us. Now she is with us in spirit, as she is with Duke, Star and Deuce".--Norm & Lynn
