All the volunteers at California GSP Rescue were saddened when we heard the news of Addie Mae. While we are grateful for the time she had with Nancy and Dan, our hearts break knowing their dogs are a part of their family and the loss they experienced. Nancy and Dan didn't want a puppy. Not even a young adult GSP. They had their eye set on an older girl that would get along with Blue and fit into their lifestyle. Addie Mae was all of those and just as sweet, if not sweeter, than any younger GSP. Thank you Nancy and Dan, for adopting and giving her a place where she knew nothing but love. 

”Dan and I are heartbroken to share that we lost our sweet Addie Mae. She was adopted 8 months ago though California GSP Rescue. She left us too soon as she was only 10 years old.  Addie Mae was a happy, joyful dog who was wanted and loved. Many of us are taught that angels have wings, those of us who are lucky learn they sometimes have paws too”.
